We strive to keep awareness of the bravery and sacrifice that took place in lower Manhattan on September 11th, 2001 by honoring the 343 FDNY members that perished that day with a 34.3 mile run from Long Beach, NY to Ground Zero. We run to remember and turn memories into miles. In addition to this run, we aim to raise money for our Line Of Duty Death (LODD) fund that supports the FDNY firehouses and families of a member who loses their life in the line of duty. Our goal is to ease the financial burden placed on both the member’s firehouse and family in the immediate aftermath of such a tragedy. From everyone involved with the 34.3 Foundation and the FDNY, we thank you for your support of our endeavor!
