At the 34.3 Foundation, we are committed to preserving the legacy of courage, sacrifice, and service shown in Lower Manhattan on September 11th, 2001. Each year, we honor the 343 FDNY members who gave their lives that day with a 34.3-mile memorial run from Long Beach, NY to Ground Zero.
We run to remember—transforming memories into miles.
In addition to commemorating their heroism, our mission extends to supporting the FDNY community through our Active Member Crisis Fund. This fund provides urgent financial assistance to firehouses and the families of active FDNY members who tragically lose their lives, whether in the line of duty or off duty. Our goal is to help ease the immediate financial strain during times of profound loss.
